清胎毒避免BB濕疹?
陳太:「我現在懷孕32周,朋友都說我要清胎毒,要吃西瓜和飲白蓮鬚糖水,否則會把濕疹傳給寶寶。」
CheckCheckCin:不少孕媽媽以為懷孕覺得很熱就是有「胎毒」,胎兒屬「元陽之軀」,孕婦感到熱是正常的,假如你在孕期過度進補、多吃辛辣煎炸食物、經常熬夜,以致出現喉乾口渴、口瘡口氣、暗瘡、尿黃便秘、心情暴躁等體內偏熱症狀,才需要適量為身體清熱清胎毒。然而清胎毒必須靠醫師的辨證論治,對症下藥,因為每位孕婦的體質都不一樣。坊間流傳的白蓮鬚有清心益腎、益血固精作用,主治夢泄遺精、吐血崩漏、瀉痢,建議孕婦經醫師診治下才服用。如果孕婦體質本身偏寒涼、虛弱,胡亂自行「清胎毒」,反傷母子正氣。
濕疹是很普遍的皮膚病,如父母雙方都有濕疹,遺傳給孩子的機會高達七成;濕疹除遺傳因素外,空氣、環境、塵蟎、食物敏感等都可致病,與其只顧「清胎毒」,不如微調生活及飲食習慣,避免過份進補、減少進食辛辣、重口味食物。

Eczema is a common skin problem. If both parents have this problem, their children would have 70% chance of getting it too. Moreover, the environment around us, the air we breathe, dust mites, and food allergies are also among the non-hereditary causes. Instead of focusing on ‘clearing the fetal toxins’, we should adjust our lifestyle and dietary habits, avoid over-nourishing our body, and cut down on hot, spicy, and heavily flavored foods.

Counting down the weeks until our baby's arrival. Not much of an update at 32 weeks. From here on out it's just a waiting game and a few final touches. We're doing our best to prepare as much as we can. My husband however is going overboard and purchasing more baby gear and gadgets on Amazon. I'm too tired to stop him so at this point he's on a shopping spree until I get my mind back in check. Probably after the baby comes out and then I'll back to my normal self.

After googling what is safe or not safe to eat during pregnancy, I went on a mission to get all the good eats for a healthy baby. This is going to be very good for my husband as well because he's gained a lot of weight within the past 2 years. Now that we are monitoring our diet to be more healthy, this way he will get back in shape in no time!
